Your driver will pick you up from Delhi Airport or your hotel in Delhi or Gurugram to begin your guided sightseeing tour.
Start with a visit to Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque, where you can explore its vast red sandstone courtyard, built in 1656 by a workforce of 5,000.
Next, head to the majestic Red Fort, constructed between 1639 and 1648 by Shah Jahan. This iconic fort served as the primary residence of the Mughal emperors and showcases a stunning blend of Indo-Islamic and Mughal architecture.
Learn about a significant historical moment in 1664, when the Eighth Sikh Guru visited the king, helping to alleviate smallpox and cholera by distributing water from the reservoir.
Visit the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, dedicated in 1921 to honor 13,300 Indian soldiers who lost their lives during World War I. Designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and Herbert Baker, this expansive 330-acre memorial reflects their contributions to shaping New Delhi.
